We provide quality assured Electrical Engineering, contracting and consultancy services to blue chip clients on various geographical locations across Ireland, UK and Mainland Europe.  We specialise in full turnkey solutions up to and including 275KV in the Renewables sector and other Mission Critical Facilities.

About the Role:

The EHS Administrator is responsible for maintaining the company’s environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote a safe and healthy work environment.  The role involves collaboration with various departments to identify and mitigate risks, conduct training, and manage EHS documentation.

Specific Responsibilities:

·       Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS policies, procedures, and programs.

·       Contribute towards regular EHS audits and inspections to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

·       Maintain EHS documentation in line with ISO 45001, including training records, incident reports, and regulatory submissions.

·       Coordinate and conduct EHS training sessions for employees, contractors, and visitors.

·       Perform risk assessments and job safety analyses to identify potential hazards.

·       Develop and implement corrective actions to mitigate identified risks.

·       Assist with any investigations of EHS incidents, accidents, and near-misses.

·       Document findings and recommend preventive measures to avoid recurrence.

·       Stay updated on EHS regulations and industry best practices.

·       Support environmental sustainability initiatives and programs.

·       Maintain EHS databases and generate reports on key metrics and performance indicators.

·       Provide regular updates to senior management on EHS performance and initiatives.

Person Specification:

Essential Criteria:

·       Minimum of 1 years’ experience within a similar role.

·       Proficient with all MS Office programs.

·       Confidentiality is a vital element within HR.

·       Multitasking and time-management skills.

·       Good judgement and decision-making skills.

·       Demonstrates a desire to continuously develop.

·       Good Interpersonal and communication skills.

·       Willing to occasionally travel to site including Mainland Europe.

 

Desirable Criteria:

·       Experience within the Hyperscale and/or Renewables industry.

·       Either hold or currently working towards NEBOSH or IOSH qualification.
